Letter from the Executive Director
2022 was a year of tremendous growth, service, and learning for Wonderland. And we’re ready for more.
As we reflect on this past year, we are honored to continue working alongside our community and partners to serve more children in need. With your support, Wonderland’s Early Support programs served a record number of children and families, while Hope RISING Clinic continued to grow to meet the needs of children and families impacted by prenatal substance exposure.
In 2022, we reached the following milestones:
- 851 children received life-changing therapies and support.
- 35 kids moved off Hope RISING Clinic’s waitlist and enrolled into services.
- Every month, an average of 415 children received the services they need to thrive.
- 93% of Hope RISING Clinic’s parents reported that HRC services met the needs of their family.

The need for our services continues to increase and Wonderland is fortunate to have the support of our incredible community of donors. 2022’s Season of Wonder campaign raised a record $246,520 to support families, unlocking a $100,000 match! These funds are enabling us to serve more children than ever before in 2023 and beyond.
In addition to raising funds to serve more families, Wonderland is working with state leaders to increase resources for children impacted by prenatal substance exposure. Hope RISING Clinic is still currently the only clinic in the state dedicated to serving children with prenatal substance exposure, and we are working hard to make these services accessible to families across the Puget Sound. Please visit our advocacy page to learn more about these efforts and get involved.
Thank you for investing in children in our community and supporting Wonderland in our efforts to increase access to services. We look forward to continuing to grow and make a lasting impact together.
