Letter from the Executive Director

In 2023, Wonderland continued to grow and serve more families than ever thanks to the support of our dedicated community and partners. Wonderland’s Early Support programs and Hope RISING Clinic continue to identify more children and families in need of developmental and prenatal substance exposure services, leading to significant growth in early support clients and families on the waiting list at Hope RISING Clinic.

In 2023, we achieved the following:

  • 1,021 children received life-changing therapies and support.
  • 49 kids moved off Hope RISING Clinic’s waitlist and enrolled into services.

2023’s Season of Wonder campaign raised a record-breaking $303,000, unlocking a $150,000 private donor match. These funds go directly toward serving children with developmental disabilities, delays, and prenatal substance exposure. We would not have met this goal without your giving and participation. Your support and advocacy are enabling us to serve even more children in these coming years.

2023 was a monumental year for Wonderland’s Hope RISING Clinic. We worked closely with community partners and state leaders to pass House Bill 1168 – the first step toward making prenatal substance exposure services available and accessible state-wide. We continue to work with our partners and the state to share our model and secure funding to reach kids and families across the state struggling with prenatal substance exposure.

2024 will be a year of great change and growth. We know one thing for sure: The need for our unique, therapeutic services will continue, and we are ready to meet the challenge. We look forward to working together to support and advocate for these families and make a lasting impact. Thank you!
